Backyard Babies: Backyard Babies is a Swedish Rock'n Roll band, formed in the city of Nässjö in 1987, originally comprising singer Tobbe, guitarist Dregen, bassist Johan Blomqvist and drummer Peder Carlsson. After recording a rough demo and playing a few local live dates, in 1989 the group dismissed Tobbe and replaced him with singer Nicke Borg; two more demos followed, as did a national tour, and in 1991 the Backyard Babies launched their first official release, the EP Something to Swallow. Lostprophets: Lostprophets is a rock band formed in Pontypridd, Wales in 1997. It was founded by current vocalist Ian Watkins and guitarist Mike Lewis. Initially, Watkins played drums for the band, although its success only began when he transferred over to lead vocals. They have released several demos, none of which have been produced commercially, three studio albums, and eleven singles (their most recent single is 4 AM Forever, which was released on April 23rd 2007). Brett Anderson: Brett Anderson (born September 29, 1967) is an English singer-songwriter born in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, England. He was the lead vocalist of rock band Suede from 1989 until their split in 2002. He then fronted The Tears with ex-Suede guitarist, Bernard Butler although as of 2006 they are on hiatus. So far Anderson has released 3 solo albums. His self-titled debut was released in 2007. The following year brought the quieter, piano-driven Wilderness and Slow Attack was released in 2009. Band of Skulls: Band of Skulls is an alternative rock band that formed in 2008 in Southampton, England. It consists of Russel Marsden (guitar, vocals), Emma Richardson (bass, vocals), and Matt Hayward (drums), who formed a band after they all met in college. Initially, they played at night clubs in the greater London area and recorded some demos under the name of Fleeing New York before changing their name to Band of Skulls in November 2008. Xavier Rudd: Xavier Rudd (born 1978) is a soulful Australian surf/roots artist from Torquay, Victoria, which is near the famous surfing location, Bells Beach. Rudd's music is compassionate and always manages to render emotion in his fans. His songs include stories of the mistreatment of the indigenous people of his homeland; they tell of humanity, spirituality or the environment. Johnny Foreigner: There are two artists using the name Johnny Foreigner. 1) Johnny Foreigner are a guitar pop / indie rock trio from Digbeth in Birmingham, England, consisting of guitarist Alexei Berrow, drummer Junior Elvis Washington Laidley and bassist Kelly Southern.
