Natty

Fresh from supporting Kate Nash and Adele on tour and following the release of the highly acclaimed ‘The Mixtape’, Natty returns with his debut single ‘Cold Town’, an upbeat ska tinged pop track with a very candid meaning. Hailing from North London Natty grew up surrounded by an eclectic mix of sounds from Neil Young to Marvin Gaye and it was while working in Sphere Studios in Battersea that he first discovered his talent. By day he was engineering for some of the biggest names in the indie music scene and by night this gave him the inspiration to nurture his own developing talent.

Julian Marley

For Julian Marley, music is life, life is music and both are blessings from above. "From a small age music has been there in my life. It's just natural. And it is with the inspiration of the Most High that I create my songs," the artist, a son of Bob Marley, explains. Born on June 4th, 1975 in London, England, Julian's development as a singer/songwriter began when, at age five, he cut his first demo tape, recording a version of his father's classic composition, "Slave Driver," at the Marley family's Tuff Gong studio in Kingston.

Nucleus Roots

The ideology behind nucleus roots was to create a studio resource for the abundant and obvious talent already existing in Manchester. The studio focused on reggae, as the studio grew, so did the catalogue of artists, arrangements and songs. The nucleus roots studio then created a platform for the artists in the form of the ''nucleus roots band'' The Band was established in 1996 from the ashes of Manchester's highly acclaimed punky reggae band, Community Charge. In the early days nucleus roots was a ten piece reggae band featuring some of the most respected musicians playing on the Uk circuit.
